ABOUT ME

Based in NJ, Michelle Tang is a two-time Student Emmy nominated narrative, documentary, and commercial filmmaker. Since directing her first film when she was 13, Tang has worked on over 50 film projects in a variety of creative and technical positions. Her films have screened at over 70 film festivals worldwide, including Oscar and Bafta qualifying events, winning over 30 awards. She has been invited to share her experiences as a young filmmaker at Harvard, MIT, Filmocracy's Female Showcase, and the Student World Impact Film Festival. Currently studying Psychology and Filmmaking at Princeton University, Tang enjoys exploring psychological concepts in her films and employs a psychological lens throughout the production process.
